March into GREEN {3}

Happy St. Patty’s Day everyone! Today as we celebrate this international holiday, we share some green inspiration from the wedding of Emily Lee & Ben Gibson. Their wedding is featured in the current issue of Southern Bride Alabama.

This couple was married on May 22 in Fairhope, Alabama. They wanted a truly classic Southern wedding. Emily had her bridesmaids wear Apple Green Dupioni silk dresses while the Groom and Groomsman wore summer cotton khaki suits and Apple Green club ties.

The Bride also incorporate green in her fabulous shoes she wore for her special day, as well as details and decorations for the ceremony and reception.

To find out more details about this beautiful, refreshing wedding and to see more photos, pick up the current issue of Southern Bride Alabama!

Tuscan Dinner Party Photoshoot & Video

This week we have done a couple photoshoots, which have been so much fun!! It’s always so exciting to see the talent and creativity of everyone and it makes all of us super excited for the next issue of Southern Bride!

Speaking of photoshoots, we thought we would end the week by sharing a fabulous video of a shoot we did for the current Southern Bride Alabama issue. The video was taken by Main Street Productions and they captured what goes on behind the scenes at a Southern Bride photoshoot. This shoot had a theme of a “Tuscan Dinner Party.”

Tuscan Style

A few months ago we did an amazing Tuscan inspired photoshoot at Crown Winery in Humboldt, TN. The setting amongst the vineyard and the Tuscan style villa brought the inspiration to life. Suzanne Dement of Sasha Souza Events was the planner who combined the Tuscan style with the beauty of the winery. No detail was left out and once it all came together, you truly felt as if you were in Tuscany!

Kent Freeman of J. Kent Freeman Floral Design & Gifts out of Jackson, TN was the master floral designer behind all of the breathtaking arrangements. He combined garden roses, gloriosa lilies, minature callas, cymbodium orchids, green trick, geranium foliage and blackberries to create bold yet naturaul arrangements for the shoot. Kent snapped a few photos of his arrangements and we wanted to share them with all of you!
