Tuscan Dinner Party Photoshoot & Video

This week we have done a couple photoshoots, which have been so much fun!! It’s always so exciting to see the talent and creativity of everyone and it makes all of us super excited for the next issue of Southern Bride!

Speaking of photoshoots, we thought we would end the week by sharing a fabulous video of a shoot we did for the current Southern Bride Alabama issue. The video was taken by Main Street Productions and they captured what goes on behind the scenes at a Southern Bride photoshoot. This shoot had a theme of a “Tuscan Dinner Party.”

With This Ring . . .

The rings! Not only beautiful jewelry, but symbols of love and faithfulness to be placed on the finger to show the commitment made to one another. It is not hard to see how the ring and the gift of a ring

began to be associated with love long ago.

Wearing a wedding ring should be a constant reminder of the vows spoken on your wedding day. It is a token of love, devotion, and the ultimate promise. The shape of the wedding band, a circle, represents an unbroken promise of love and commitment. The circle has no beginning and no end; therefore, the marriage has no end. Carried out for thousands of years, the wedding ring is the oldest and most treasured tradition of marriage.

A Very Special Meeting

A trend growing in the Wedding Photography field is the Bride and Groom seeing one another in full dress prior to the wedding.

This is a multi purpose trend, first the emotions of seeing each other for the first time is still very high, and relieves the stress of seeing each other for the first time in front of a church full of friends.

This first meeting is done with just the bride and groom, no one else is allowed, except the photographer. Second it gives the bride a much fuller experience walking down the isle. Of course for the photographer this allows the photography that usually takes place after the ceremony to be done prior to the ceremony. This allows the wedding party and parents to proceed directly to the reception at the end of the ceremony. Also, it allows the Bride, Groom and photographer a window of time to get the SPECIAL photographs brides see and love to have for themselves. This special photo may be a number of different locations that in the normal wedding photo process would be impossible to accomplish.
