If you've heard a little buzz about what we like to call the "Embellish Workout" and have been wondering what it is, it's the trek the lot of us make down the steep stairs in our wondrous purple building down to Smooth & Juicey and Satellite every morning!! Not only do we get a good daily workout in but we start our day off with the tastiest smoothies and the best coffee Tacoma has to offer. That may seem like a biased opinion but anyone who has had the chance to pop in for a Green Machine, Pango Tango or a quick shot of wheat grass would definitely agree. The best part is they press and blend fruit and veggies from as much locally grown produce as possible. Like Thane says, "Where are you going find a banana tree in WA?" Ha!!
"The Boys", Thane Davis and Doug Mazzine, have been spending time getting their feet wet and are mastering the art of smoothie making, juice squeezing and wheat grass pressing in preparation for their official grand opening. Monday February 1st at 5pm they will be serving samples of their smoothie and juice concoctions and Satellite will be giving you the gift of free French pressed goodness following the ribbon cutting by none other than Mayor Marilyn Strickland. Shawn Oberbeck will also be there to answer any questions you have about Usana Nutritionals.
